This event is open to runners of all abilities. Why not make it a family outing? There is a fun run and craft table for the children, massage available for anxious waiting supporters along with tea and coffee, not forgetting the 'famous' homemade cakes.
10k - Route Description
You run through some of the best countryside Yorkshire has to offer and it is an enjoyable event for all standards.
The route has been used for the last eight races. It consists of about 60% public roads and 40% public footpaths. The roads are very quiet country lanes with the exception of one very short section near the end where there is tarmac foot-way alongside. The public footpaths vary from farm road to field track. The whole course will be well sign-posted and marshalled.
Registration will take place at the school at 9am.
This race is open to everyone 15 years and over.
On the day entries only for the Fun Run.
The fun run starts shortly after the main race has begun.
All competitors of the Fun Run are awarded a certificate of achievement and a medal.

The event is being organised by the governors of St. Joseph's School, Pickering and all proceeds will go towards specific projects to improve the school. Those that have taken part in previous years will notice a big difference at the school as the new extension has now been built but funds are still needed to pay for it and to provide equipment and furniture. Please click HERE if you would like to check-out the school website, which has been developed by the older children in the school. All entrants are encouraged to get sponsorship either for the school or their preferred good cause. Please see 'Entry Forms' link above for postal and online entries.
