Sunday 25th October 2009
Sunday 25th October 2009 will see the sixth running of the Pickering & Moors 10K.
The route will be the same as in previous years.
There will be the chance to choose between a Fun Run for the youngsters, and a 10k (not officially measured) for the more serious, experienced or adventurous.
The longer course will take you through some of the best countryside that England has to offer and should prove to be an enjoyable event for all standards.
Fun Run
The Fun Run is open to all 6 years old and over, and will be run over approx. 1 mile. There will be a shorter race for the toddlers open to those of 5 and under. Both courses will be fully supervised but Parents/Carers will still be responsible for their children. On the day entries only for the Fun Run.
10k
The 10K will be run over a course consisting of public roads and public footpaths. This distance is open to all persons of at least 15 years.
The event is being organised by the governors of St. Joseph's School Pickering and all proceeds will go towards specific projects to improve the school. Those that have taken part in previous years will notice a big difference at the school as the new extension will be finished.
