10k
10k
The 10K course has been used for the last six years. It consists of about 60% public roads and 40% public footpaths. The roads are very quite country lanes with the exception of one very short section near the end where there is tarmaced foot-way alongside. The public footpaths vary from farm road to field track, the whole course will be well sign-posted and marshalled.
You run through some of the best countryside Yorkshire has to offer and it should prove to be an enjoyable event for all standards.
This distance is open to all persons of at least 15 years.

Organisation
The event is being organised by the governors of St. Joseph's School Pickering and all proceeds will go towards specific projects to improve the school. Those that have taken part in previous years will notice a big difference at the school as the new extension has now been built but funds are still needed to pay for it and to provide equipment and furniture. Please click HERE if you would like to check-out the school website, which has been developed by the older children in the school. All entrants are encouraged to get sponsorship either for the school or their preferred good cause. Please see 'Entry Forms' link above for postal and online entries.
